Thomas Synek, M.D.

Thomas Synek, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine.

At his interventional pain management office in Spring, Texas. Dr. Synek specializes in relieving chronic pain through customized treatment plans that use minimally invasive, nonsurgical, and non-narcotic therapies.

Dr. Synek provides the highest-quality health care services, patient education, and rehabilitative resources to address a variety of chronic pain conditions including headaches, neuropathy, and arthritis. He has extensive experience in treatments like ultrasound-guided injections and regenerative medicine therapies to provide his patients with long-lasting pain relief.

Earning his medical degree from UT Health® – University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Dr. Synek completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Soon after, he launched his private practice together with his wife, Amanda Synek, RN.

Dr. Synek is known for his knowledgeable, personable bedside manner. To achieve his goal of providing accessible pain management services to those living with chronic pain, Dr. Synek spends time learning more about each patient’s condition.

He works closely with individuals to restore their mobility and relieve their pain, so patients can get back to the healthy, physically active lifestyle they deserve.

Teresa Macleod, RN, FNP-BC

Teresa Macleod, RN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and provides specialized care for the management of chronic pain conditions at the office of Thomas Synek, MD, in Spring, Texas.

Teresa assists Dr. Synek with interventional pain management services, including ultrasound-guided joint injections, regenerative medicine therapies, and medication management plans. She diagnoses and treats a variety of chronic pain conditions, including neuropathy, sciatica, and arthritis.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, Teresa went on to earn her master’s degree from UT Health®, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Prior to joining the team, she worked as a charge nurse in the emergency center at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston for 10 years.

Upon completing the family nurse practitioners’ program at the Texas Children’s Hospital, Teresa, served as a nurse practitioner at Sona Medspa in Texas, where she specialized in aesthetic medicine.

When not helping her patients find solutions for long-lasting pain relief, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children being active in the Spring community.
